Synopsis:
A fox terrier and a black labrador escape from an animal research station where they have been subjected to cruel experiments in the name of science. At last they are free. But soon they must run for their lives when it is rumored that they are carriers of a plague. Filmmaker Martin Rosen brings together the skilled animation team who made Watership Down, whose unsentimental approach realistically creates the pain of an animal Auschwitz, the beauty of being free, and the terror of being hunted.
